About
An independent guide to staying in Cyprus
We help travellers from the UK and Europe answer one question well: where should I stay in Cyprus?
Stay Cyprus Guide is an independent Cyprus travel information website created to help visitors choose where to stay based on destination, travel style and accommodation preferences. We are not a hotel, travel agency or booking platform, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by any accommodation provider or online travel agency.
What we do
Choosing an area is the hardest part of planning a Cyprus holiday. Paphos, Protaras, Ayia Napa, Limassol, Larnaca and Nicosia all offer very different trips. We describe what each area is actually like, who it suits and what to watch out for, so you can shortlist a base before you start comparing individual properties.
Who writes this guide
This is a small independent project rather than a large editorial operation. Our destination guides are compiled from publicly verifiable information about each area — geography, beach type, transfer distances, walkability and the general mix of accommodation — and are reviewed and updated as things change. Where we do not know something, we say so rather than filling the gap.
How we research
- We focus on stable, verifiable characteristics: geography, beach type, transfer times, walkability and the general mix of accommodation.
- We deliberately do not publish prices, star ratings, review scores or availability. Those change constantly and belong on the booking partner's site.
- Example properties shown in our collections are clearly labelled placeholders that illustrate a style of stay. They are not recommendations of specific real hotels, and we do not claim to have visited every property we link to.
How this site is funded
Some outbound links on this website are affiliate links. If you make a qualifying booking after following one, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. This never changes the price you pay and does not influence which areas we describe positively. Read our affiliate disclosure for details.
